The Rose and the Timepiece

It’s hard to believe that just seven days ago, The Rose & The Timepiece wasn’t even in the world. It existed only as a file on my desktop and a prayer between drafts—a story that had lived in my heart for months, waiting for the moment it would find its way into form.

That moment came fast. In one week—yes, just a week—this book crossed every threshold: submission, revision, printing, and release. And now, somehow, it’s here. A real book. A tangible creation I can hold in my hands.

Maybe that’s why I’m still a little bit in shock. Because The Rose & The Timepiece wasn’t built on hurry—it was built on trust. Every delay, every upload, every “try again” was its own quiet lesson from the Universe, reminding me that creation has its rhythm, and sometimes magic arrives right on time, no sooner and no later.

When I drew my cards this morning, they told the story better than I could. The Hierophant—the bridge between spirit and earth. The Eight of Wands—the speed of inspiration, the arrows that found their mark. The Ten and Eight of Pentacles—abundance through craft, the mastery that comes from devotion.

And the jumper: Two of Pentacles—the reminder that balance is a living dance.

They were right, of course. The lesson of this week is balance—the dance between imagination and effort, divine timing and human hands.

So here she is, Book One of the Timekeeper Series, now available in paperback, hardcover, and eBook across Amazon,Apple Books, Google Play-Books and Barnes & Noble. (Do a Search for Kari Schad) A story born of intuition and built through perseverance—a bridge between the mystical and the real.

I hope when readers hold it, they feel what I felt when I held it for the first time: that moment when creation becomes matter. That spark of awe when you realize the impossible just happened in your own hands.

Because it did.
